Monday and Tuesday mornings find women from Vail, Rita Ranch and Tucson meeting in a home in Rita Ranch for coffee and an interfaith Bible Study. The women come from all different backgrounds and churches. The Bible is our textbook and authority. This fall we will be studying the Old Testament book of First Samuel. The historical setting of this book parallels our world today. As we study, we can “read” our lives in the lives of Hannah, Samuel, Saul and David and see the reality of their (and our) daily experience as the stuff God uses to work out his purposes in us and in the world. We will also discover God’s faithfulness and his care for his people.
There are no requirements to attend the study, no previous knowledge is necessary. It is a safe place where women learn and discover together. Verbal participation is strictly voluntary. It is a great place to meet new friends, and a place you can always take friends. Need encouragement? You will find it there.
There will be an introductory meeting on Monday morning, September 12th, at 9 AM. At this time, women will be given the choice of attending the study on either Monday or Tuesday morning. Come and discover with us. For more information call Roxine at 574-8511 or 481-8266.
