At VailUSD, we recognize the importance of providing wraparound support to our children and their families, especially during periods of financial difficulty. The Angel Tree Program is a key initiative designed to meet the essential needs during the holiday season.

This program helps alleviate financial stress by providing Holiday gifts and basic necessities to families who have been identified as needing support by our Student Services Coordinators and Counselors. It is a direct and impactful way for the community to contribute to the well-being of our children.

Donor Opportunities and Guidelines

We are actively seeking donors, individuals, groups, and businesses to partner with us in this effort. Your support helps strengthen our community by ensuring families can meet their children’s needs without undue hardship.

How You Can Participate:
• Adopt a Child or Family: Donors receive a wish list from a child. We ask that each child receive one wish, one want, some clothing items, and small stocking stuffers from their list.
• Contribute Essential Items: We also accept donations of high-demand essential items, including new shoes, blankets, hoodies, hygiene products, or gift cards.
• Group or Business Participation: Adopting a child or family can be an excellent team-building activity that directs your collective efforts toward a meaningful community outcome.

Delivery Instructions:

Presents must be delivered to the child’s specific campus no later than December 5th. All gifts must be delivered unwrapped and clearly labeled with the anonymous Angel number provided.
